If It Ain’t Broke Don’t Fix It

This week, we learned Eminem is still clinging to old technology by using a Blackberry. I can’t say I blame him, I do miss the satisfying click of a keyboard on my phone.

Not that we’re resistant to change (or technology) in a digital era but some things should be left alone. As an example, the QR menus at restaurants… I want to hold a physical germ-filled menu so we’re not just staring at some pixelated image on our screens silently deciding what to eat.

And don’t you dare take away my physical books. Call me old-fashioned, but I’ll take a physical book over an e-reader any day. Plus they smell pretty damn good.

And bidets? Please. I’m not fancy enough for all that fancy-schmancy water-spraying business. I’ll stick to the basics, thank you very much.

If you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna head home to enjoy some dial-up internet after I make all the necessary calls on my rotary phone.
