Sum 41’s Deryck Whibley Memoir…Would you read it?

Deryck Whibley has a memoir coming out in October of this year, but on shelves in January. It’s titled “Walking Disaster”: My Life Through Heaven and Hell and yes, it gets its title from a 2007 Sum 41 song. In the book, the “Fat Lip” singer will take fans back to his early years growing up in Canada in a single-parent household. Whibley, who grew up in what he calls “difficult circumstances,” found solace in punk music and the songwriting of Kurt Cobain, which would eventually lead him to form Sum 41 in 1996.
