Lemmy Kilmister, the leader of Motörhead, passed away on December 28, 2015, at the age of 70, shortly after being diagnosed with prostate cancer. After his passing, some of his ashes placed into bullet shell casings after his cremation. These were distributed to his closest friends, including James Hetfield of Metallica. In appreciation, James found a unique way to honor Lemmy, who had been a significant source of inspiration for him.
