Mötley Crüe Unveils Official Lyric Video for ‘Dogs Of War’

Mötley Crüe debuts their latest single, “Dogs Of War,” under their fresh collaboration with Big Machine Records. Bassist Nikki Sixx shares his excitement about hitting the studio again, while producer Bob Rock commends the band’s current ingenuity. The group is eager to continue crafting new music, with plans for future releases already in the pipeline. “Dogs Of War” seamlessly merges vintage tones with a modern edge, a sentiment echoed by vocalist Vince Neil. This partnership with Big Machine Records comes after the band’s successful 2014 project, “Nashville Outlaws: A Tribute To Mötley Crüe.” Despite their independent status for the past two decades, Mötley Crüe sees promise in this new alliance. The band’s latest tracks, including “Dogs Of War,” venture into heavier and more aggressive territory, a direction guitarist John 5 enthusiastically embraces. Following Mick Mars’ retirement from touring due to health concerns, John 5 stepped in as his replacement in 2022, though Mars remains involved in the band’s creative process. Nevertheless, legal matters surrounding Mars’ stake in the band’s assets have led to a lawsuit filed in 2023.
