Kendra’s Cold Brew

Coffee in all forms is good in my books, and the past couple of years I’ve gotten more and more into cold brew. Contrary to what many believe, it’s not just a cup of regular coffee that you forgot about… it is made cold in the first place. I’m no expert, but if you want to try out my go to- give it a shot!

Start off with a container for your coffee. I usually use a French Press so that the grounds are left separate from the cold brew after it has sit.

A common ratio that you will find for cold brew is 1:4 . I will usually use 1 cup of course ground coffee and 4 cups of room temperature water. Add both to the French Press and let it sit for at least 10 hours. Often I will just let it chill in the fridge overnight and then have it in the afternoon for a pick me up. That’s it! Easy peazy… pour it over ice, or add some maple syrup and enjoy!
