Lawsuit Claims Trojan Condoms Tainted with Cancer-Linked ‘Forever Chemicals

A bombshell lawsuit dropped Monday, accusing Trojan condoms of being dangerously unsafe due to the presence of toxic “forever chemicals” linked to cancer. The shocking class-action filing in Manhattan federal court alleges that Trojan’s parent company, Church & Dwight, has been selling products laced with per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) — the same chemicals infamously connected to severe health risks. Plaintiff Matthew Goodman claims independent lab tests on the Trojan Ultra Thin condoms he bought in a Manhattan drugstore revealed the disturbing presence of organic fluorine, a marker of the harmful PFAS compounds. The lawsuit argues that Trojan condoms, marketed as “America’s #1 Condom,” are essentially unfit for their most basic purpose. Goodman, who believed the condoms were safe for intimate use based on the packaging, is now demanding justice for consumers nationwide, seeking a minimum of $5 million in damages from Church & Dwight.
