A British woman, Tizi Hodson, 70, recently received a job application she had mailed nearly 50 years ago for a motorcycle stunt rider position. The letter, sent in January 1976, was returned with a note explaining it had been found behind a drawer at a post office. Hodson, shocked to receive it after so many years, joked she finally knew why she never got a response. Despite not getting the job, Hodson pursued other adventurous careers, such as snake handling and aerobatic piloting. Royal Mail is unsure how the letter resurfaced after all this time.
