In a couple of weeks we’ll be able to take a time warp nearly 40 years back with the newly-remastered version of “Tom Petty: Heartbreakers Beach Party.” Marking the very first film for Academy Award winner Cameron Crowe, this documentary follows Tom and the band as they ride the first major wave of popularity and prepare for the release of their 5th studio album “Long After Dark” in the early days of the MTV era. I think we’ve all been starved for a good beach party.
The documentary will be exclusive to Paramount+ subscribers as of March 11th, produced by Petty Legacy and MTV Entertainment Studios.
