If you’ve been driving around Saskatoon lately, you know our residential streets have felt a bit like a “rugged battlefield” thanks to the recent freeze-thaw cycles. The deep ruts have made for some bumpy commutes, but there is good news on the horizon!
The City of Saskatoon is officially on the move with its residential street rut leveling program. Crews have already cleared several neighborhoods, prioritizing areas based on road conditions and local mobility needs. If your street hasn’t been hit yet, hang tight… the city is working through the schedule over the coming days. Once the residential roads are smooth, crews will transition to back lanes starting next week.
Stay safe out there, drive carefully, and check the City’s website to see when the graders are heading to your neighborhood!
