Hey Saskatoon, Black Friday 2025 didn’t disappoint—it remained our retail powerhouse. Despite tighter budgets, shoppers turned out strong at Midtown, The Centre, and hotspots all had lots of traffic with stores extending hours to handle the rush.
Nationally, Canadian sales rose 6% year-over-year, driven by early deals and mobile orders. In the U.S., foot traffic edged up 1.17%, and department stores saw a 7.9% boost—mirroring our local buzz. Electronics, winter gear, and toys led sales, confirming it as our busiest shopping day.
Even with online growth, in-person hunts thrived. What deals did you snag?
