Saskatoon folks, a little excitement hit the airport parking lot on January 24! Around 2:34 pm, the Saskatoon Fire Department got multiple calls about a light-duty truck on fire. Even STARS personnel and some quick-thinking bystanders jumped in with portable extinguishers, but the flames kept going.
Fire crews rolled up fast, knocked it out in no time, and made sure the blaze didn’t jump to any nearby vehicles. Best news? No injuries at all. The scene’s now with police for investigation—probably checking what sparked it.
Shoutout to the firefighters and those brave bystanders for jumping in. Just another reminder to keep an eye on your ride, especially in these cold snaps. Stay safe out there, Saskatoon! 🚒✈️
